Eva
She was born in Uddevalla, Sweden, in 1961. She won Miss Sweden at twenty, placed fourth runner-up in Miss Universe, and put herself through medical school while still modeling. She met Jeffrey Epstein around 1981 while working at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. He paid for her medical education, in Sweden and then in California. According to his own defense attorneys during the 2008 plea negotiations, their romantic relationship lasted eleven years and ended not from any rupture but because, as they put it, the demands of Jeffrey’s life could not include staying in one place and having a family.
She graduated from UCLA medical school. She married Glenn Dubin in 1994. In the early 2000s she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and in 2011 she founded the Dubin Breast Center at Mount Sinai in New York. She and Glenn donated approximately $19 million to launch it and raised another $24 million for it. Epstein helped furnish it. He sourced a coat rack that matched one in his own home, had it painted white to match the color Eva wanted, and had his chauffeur deliver it to the center on Fifth Avenue. Three years after his conviction for soliciting a minor for prostitution, she emailed him to say thank you.
The DOJ files contain a 2011 message from a redacted associate advising Epstein on how to rehabilitate his image after his conviction, the strategy was clear.
“Do your penalty and make a plan for inner city kids for science… I would use Dr. Eva as the person who gives the checks to the schools in your name, she is a Dr. a wife and a mother.” | EFTA01837822
His circle was using her professional credentials as public cover. She has never addressed this document.
She appears at least 1,500 times in the files. In 2012, when a young woman was injured in an ATV accident on Epstein’s island, he emailed Eva. She arranged for a Mount Sinai plastic surgeon to treat the woman, 35 stitches, while the woman lay on Epstein’s dining room table, outside any hospital. There are separate messages showing Epstein asking Eva to arrange a gynecological appointment for another young woman. She confirmed she would organize the referral. She was still recommending doctors for him months before his death in 2019.
In March 2026, Mount Sinai opened a formal investigation into Eva’s ties to Epstein. A committee was formed. The Dubin Breast Center, where Celina Dubin now practices, is part of that review

Glenn
Glenn Russell Dubin was born in 1957 and grew up in Washington Heights. His father drove a taxi. His mother emigrated from Austria and worked as a hospital administrator. He went to public school, played football and lacrosse at Stony Brook, got a degree in economics.
In 1992, he and partner Henry Swieca co-founded Highbridge Capital Management with $35 million. By the time JPMorgan Asset Management purchased a majority stake in 2004, Highbridge had become one of the most successful hedge funds in New York. The acquisition price was $1.3 billion. By 2007 the fund had grown to over $35 billion under management. JPMorgan completed the purchase of the remaining shares in July 2009. Glenn stayed on as chief executive. That acquisition made him a billionaire.
According to reporting and court filings, Epstein made it happen. He connected Dubin to JPMorgan’s leadership, positioned himself as the essential intermediary, and was reportedly paid $15 million for the introduction.
Glenn is a founding board member of the Robin Hood Foundation. He established the Dubin Fellowship at Harvard’s Kennedy School with a $5 million gift, donated $4.3 million to Stony Brook, and sat on MoMA’s board. He retired from running client money in January 2020, telling Reuters the move was long planned and unrelated to his ties with Epstein.
Epstein held eight phone numbers in Glenn’s black book entry. Second-highest contact density in the entire address book, after Les Wexner.

Build Around Eachother
Epstein met Eva around 1981. He funded her medical education. They were together for eleven years. He met Glenn through Eva. He invested millions in Highbridge and brokered the JPMorgan deal. He was named godfather to the Dubin children.
The Dubins were deeply embedded in his world before he was ever convicted of anything. And after his conviction, they stayed.

2009: The Probation Letter
Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008, served 13 months mostly on work release, and registered as a sex offender. In 2009, shortly after his release, Eva Andersson-Dubin wrote to his Palm Beach probation officer. She was 100% comfortable with Jeffrey Epstein around her children.
That same year, the Dubins reportedly spent Thanksgiving with him.
2010: The Email
On August 14, 2010, Eva sent Epstein an email. He was at Zorro Ranch in New Mexico.
“Come and visit next week. Celina will have 5 friends over.” | EFTA02423721
Celina was approximately fifteen years old. This was two years after his conviction for soliciting a minor for prostitution. The friends included four boys and one girl. The Dubin family released a statement saying the context had been misread. The statement did not address why a registered sex offender was being invited to a home where a fifteen year old was hosting friends.
Rinaldo Rizzo
Rinaldo Rizzo and his wife Debra worked for the Dubins as their full-time household manager and chef. In 2016, Rizzo gave a deposition in the defamation lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell. He was in tears.
In 2005, Maxwell and Epstein brought a fifteen-year-old Swedish girl to the Dubin home. Eva accompanied the girl into the kitchen, where Rizzo and his wife were working, then left the room.
“She sat down and sat in the stool exactly the way the girls that I mentioned to you sat at Jeffrey’s house, with no expression and with their head down.”
The girl reminded him of other girls he had seen at Epstein’s homes — distraught and shaking, quivering, in his words. He introduced himself. His wife offered water and tissue. The girl told him she was fifteen.
“And I said to her: ‘You’re 15 years old and you have a position like that?’ At that point she just breaks down hysterical, and I feel like I just said something wrong, and she will not stop crying.”
Then she told him what had happened. She had just come from Epstein’s island. Maxwell and Sarah Kellen had asked her for sex. She had said no. Her passport was taken. Maxwell threatened her not to tell anyone. She had been brought to the Dubin home directly from the island.
“She proceeded to tell my wife and I: ‘I was on the island and there was Ghislaine, and there was Sarah,’ and she said, ‘They asked me for sex. I said no.’”
Rizzo noted the girl stopped talking when she heard Eva approaching. Then Eva walked in.
“Eva comes in and tells her that she will be working for Eva in the city. As a nanny.”
Approximately one month later, Rizzo saw the same girl on a flight to Sweden with the Dubin family. She was dropped off at a Swedish airport.
In a separate sworn affidavit, Rizzo testified that he witnessed a young woman emerge from Glenn Dubin’s bedroom crying after an overnight visit arranged by Epstein. Glenn Dubin categorically denies it.
Rizzo and his wife resigned in October 2005. He testified they couldn’t deal with these incidents. The Swedish girl was the last one.
In a 2010 deposition, Nadia Marcinkova was asked whether she knew Glenn Dubin. She pleaded the Fifth. In a 2010 deposition of alleged co-conspirator Adriana Ross, a lawyer asked whether Epstein had started supplying underage females to Glenn Dubin. The question is in the deposition record. JPMorgan’s own internal investigation memo identified Rinaldo Rizzo by name as having knowledge of Epstein underage activity at the Dubin residence.
Virgina Guiffre: The Sworn Allegations
Virginia Roberts Giuffre gave multiple depositions across multiple cases. Her allegations against Glenn Dubin appear in sworn federal court testimony. They have never been adjudicated. Glenn Dubin categorically denies them.
In her May 2016 deposition in the defamation case against Maxwell, she listed Dubin among the men she alleges Maxwell and Epstein directed her to have sex with. She described him as the first powerful figure she was sent to after her training. Maxwell told her to give him a massage. In her memoir she wrote that Eva left the room while Glenn remained, that the encounter was forceful, that Eva was pregnant at the time, and that the couple’s children were in the house.
A Dubin spokesperson stated they have flight records and other evidence that definitively disprove any such events occurred. No court has examined that evidence. The case settled in 2017.
Giuffre also alleged in sworn testimony that Epstein groomed Celina Dubin. The family denies it. No criminal charge has been filed.
The Maxwell Trial: Eva On The Stand
When Maxwell went to trial in December 2021, the defense called Eva Andersson-Dubin as a witness. The woman who had written to Epstein’s probation officer vouching for him, whose home had been the site of Rizzo’s most disturbing testimony. The defense put her on the stand.
She described Epstein as having an uncle like role in her family. Her children called him Uncle F. She and her husband were comfortable with that.
She was shown flight records documenting her family’s trips on Epstein’s plane, including a May 1998 flight that also listed Jane — one of Epstein’s victims, who had testified that someone named Eva joined group sex encounters with her when she was underage. Eva testified she could not recall being on that flight.
“Absolutely not.”
That was her answer when asked under oath whether she had engaged in a sexual encounter with Jane.
She testified she did not recall ever observing inappropriate conduct between Epstein and teenage girls during the entire decade from 1994 to 2004. She was not questioned at trial about the Rizzo testimony, the probation letter, or the 2010 email. The defense called her. The prosecution’s cross-examination did not cover those subjects.

Celina
Celina Dubin is Glenn and Eva’s eldest child. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard in 2017, received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and is now a resident physician in dermatology there. The same hospital where her mother founded the breast center Epstein helped furnish.
Epstein met her when she was approximately twelve. She called him Uncle F. They exchanged hundreds of messages over years — about school, shopping, career advice. He offered to buy her clothes and connect her to professional contacts. Below is a message from Celina to Epstein.
“Anything!! You know what I like, I also need some cool but also flattering and somewhat sexy (ish) shirts that I can wear when I go out at night.” | EFTA01849597
He described her as my most favorite person in the whole world.
In 2014, when Celina was nineteen, Epstein told multiple associates he planned to marry her. The reason was financial: if he married Celina, she could inherit his island and fortune without the estate facing inheritance tax liability. He was explicit about the logic. He named her as a beneficiary in a trust created in 2014, removed her in 2015, and named her again in a January 2019 trust as the largest beneficiary, positioned to receive Zorro Ranch and Little Saint James plus the trust’s remaining balance. That trust was superseded by the 1953 Trust, signed two days before his death, in which Celina’s name does not appear. A spokesperson said she renounced any potential inheritance upon learning she had been named.
The DOJ files contain a playlist titled celina and a storage box labeled Celina Photos. Epstein donated $50,000 to the Hasty Pudding Club at Harvard, the club Celina was a member of, and $10,000 to the Icahn School of Medicine in 2016, the year before she graduated.
The Money
Glenn’s financial relationship with Epstein was documented, extensive, and continued after the conviction.
Eight phone numbers in the black book. Second only to Wexner. Millions invested in Highbridge. The $1.3 billion JPMorgan introduction, with Epstein reportedly receiving $15 million for it.
Weeks after Epstein’s death in 2019, JPMorgan Chase filed a suspicious activity report covering transactions involving Glenn Dubin, Leon Black, Alan Dershowitz, and Les Wexner, totaling approximately $1 billion. Those reports were unsealed by a federal judge in 2023. On March 11, 2026, Richard Kahn confirmed under oath before Congress that Glenn Dubin was one of the five clients who paid Epstein the most money.
In September 2020, the U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General subpoenaed Glenn Dubin for all documents and communications regarding Virginia Giuffre, travel on Epstein’s planes, communications with Epstein and Maxwell, records related to the Dubins’ three children and Epstein, and financial transactions with Epstein including anything related to the Highbridge sale.
After
Eva and Maxwell were photographed together at a Halloween gala on October 31, 2005. The same year Rizzo encountered the Swedish girl Maxwell had brought to their home.
In early 2016, Eva gave Epstein the email address of her Palm Beach neighbor David Fiszel, who was raising money for a new hedge fund. Fiszel wrote to Epstein: Eva Dubin gave me your email address. Eight years after the conviction. She was still making introductions.
On November 4, 2016, Eva emailed Epstein regarding the voluntary dismissal of Doe v. Trump, a federal lawsuit alleging Donald Trump had sexually abused a minor at Epstein’s Manhattan residence. According to the DOJ files, she wrote: told you, the case was a fake. She has not addressed this email publicly.
In June 2017, Epstein’s assistant was arranging tickets to Oslo for Eva, described as a very good friend of his. A year before his 2019 arrest.
The Denials
Glenn and Eva Dubin have consistently and categorically denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
“Glenn and Eva Dubin are outraged by the allegations against them in the unsealed court records and categorically reject them. The Dubins have flight records and other evidence that definitively disprove that any such events occurred.”
Dubin family spokesperson, 2019.
“As she has long stated, Dr. Eva Dubin was horrified by the unspeakable acts committed by Mr. Epstein. She is deeply pained that her friendship with him has dragged her children into the public eye, through no fault of their own. Dr. Dubin never witnessed, nor was she aware of, Epstein’s conduct. Had she known, she would have severed all ties immediately and never allowed him near her children.”
Dubin family spokesperson, 2026.
On the marriage comment about Celina, a spokesperson called it an offhand remark and said there is no justification for dragging Celina into a public controversy she had nothing to do with.
No charges. No trial. The Giuffre case settled. The Rizzo testimony sits in a federal court file, sworn and uncontradicted, going on twenty years. Eva Andersson-Dubin is a trustee at Mount Sinai. Celina practices there now. The breast center Epstein helped furnish is open. A fifteen year old Swedish girl was dropped at an airport in Sweden, and the people who were there have never been asked about it under oath.

Good summary. Nice to have it succinct and organized well.
Great piece. I live in NYC and made a comment about the Dubins and Epstein at a local Indivisible gathering. I really thought I was going to be physically attacked by the crowd there. The Dubins had so many supporters because of their breast cancer work. It’s disgraceful.
